Scriptures for Christian Horsewomen
This page is for Christian horsewomen who would like to start their day at the barn with a scripture from the Bible in their mind. We seem to have so much on our minds these days. Our time at the barn to "non-horse" people sounds like a lot work, but for many of us it serves as a stress reliever. Why not meditate on God's Word while we are around such a wonderful creature as the horse?
Hast thou given the horse strength? Hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? The glory of his nostrils is terrible.
He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength. He goeth on to meet the armed men.
He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.
The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
He saith among the trumpets, ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
Job 39:19-25
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water
I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:14
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear....
Psalm 46:1,2
